Rcs And Neon Tetra?

i think it should be fine. the neons have small mouths so i wouldn't have thought that they could eat them. i would have plenty of hiding places in the tank, so they don't get harassed. the neons will probably eat the baby shrimp.

cheers :good:

Yeah I dont see any issues either, I think the only problem I can think of is that the tetras might eat the babies but not end of the world... Go for it :good:

I never had any problems - however I dont think it is a good idea to add shrimp to a tank of fish. If you have to dose the tank with meds more often than not you have to remove the shrimp as most meds contain copper etc which kills shrimp, and even if you have another tank to keep them in they are a pain to catch!!

The shrimp are in the tank alone at the minute; I'd like to add some fish.

I don't mind if the tetras eat some of the babies; just not all of them.

So have you added them? I have six Neon Tetras and four Red Cherry Shrimp and no issues. Only once have I seen a Tetra staring down a shrimp but that was probably because I didn't feed them for a couple of days. Hunger will do strange things to all animals.

I saw a couple of baby shrimp flying about a few days ago and haven't seen them since. Either they're hiding out really well or they were really small snacks for the other fish.
