i went to an lfs and they had rams-horn-snails but this was but this was no ordinary snail it was red yes RED i reALLY dont know why it was red but i think theyre pretty rare has anyone ever had a red rams horn

It depends on how red the snail was.

I have lots of Planorbarius corneus, Great Ramshorn Snails that have hemoglobin in their blood and it makes them red. There are a color variation of this species (P. corneus var. rubrum or P. rubrum) that looks even more red than the regular ones.

There is also Helisoma nigricans (Red ramshorn snail), jus a bit smaller than Planorbarius corneus, but much more red. They are closely related and their shape is quite similar.

ohhhh i just never saw a ramshorn snail out side of its shell
