Rainbow Shark Gill Ulser

Hi everyone, my shark has been like this for over a year now, no better, no worst, and he dos no seem bothered by it, will it ever get better and is there anything that I can do to make it get better?

Poor thing. Pretty nasty.

Do you have a heater guard.
Any excess mucas on the gill.
Any fish been pecking at his gill.
Does he rub his gills on objects in the tank.
Can you see any visable parasites on the gill.
See any signs of flicking and rubbing.
Fish darting around tank.
Any fish showing signs of laboured breathing.


You will have to look behind the gills plate to see if you can see any
visable parasites.
