Rainbow Fish - Scab Or Fungus?

Hi
I have just purchased a Blue Rainbow Fish and when i got home i only really noticed there was a large grey/black patch on its side, it is rasied from the skin, there is a tiny white spot at the end - Not fuzzy - Kinda like a human spot
There is also a sore looking area around the tail which also has a tiny spot
The tail fins have been damaged
 
I cannont tell if these are battle scars healing or something else?

I'm not sure what it is but isolate him and give him daily water changes of at least 50% with temperature matched, dechlorinated water. You should see some improvement if it is just battle wounds.
