R.i.p. Frost (and Steel.)

After battling an unknown disease for over a month one of my plakat's from Synirr died sometime last night. He was one of the prettiest bettas I've ever had and he left me quite a few of his babies to remember him by.
Also my copper HMPK Steel from Thailand also died of an unknown disease a little over a month ago. I believe it was the same disease that Frost had. He also was very pretty. I only wish that I had been able to spawn him before he passed on.

I'm sorry.

So far all my Synirr boys are doing well, but a rampant fin rot has decimated my girls. I began treating it very late.

RIP little boys. It's the worst when they die and you have no idea what from.

The only thing I could notice was they both had clamped fins, and they kind of waddled when they swam and hung out at the bottom of their tanks. I don't have pictures. I treated them both with Maracyn and Maracyn Two, plus non-iodized salt. Also I cleaned their tanks every other day.
