lol that's great I've viewed it before.

However it will probably make people shy away from keeping them. I'd just like to note that with my symbiotic pair of gobies the shrimp hardly even leaves the burrow. I haven't kept the shrimp w/out a goby but I'd imagine I have VERY low chances of it actually killing my other inhabitants.

I doubt it TI. When I was doing all my aclimatising I wasn't watching how much water was coming out and it was being topped off w/RO water. SG fell to 1.020 or 1.021 something like that. I'm wondering if a swing like that would be enough to wipe out sensitive inverts. That's what I chalked up to though. The pistol never goes more than an inch or two from his burrow. If anything comes by the gobies dart for the burrow and the shrimp won't come out if the gobies aren't out.

I forgot you had that problem. It probably is enough to stress sensitive inverts.

At least you have learnt from that mistake, others like me will not make it either when I do get an auto top off.

Yep..I keep my pair with cleaners, blood and peppermints and have no problems yet..think when paired off they are content with their goby feeding them. Saying that in the nano I have a crinoid pistol who ha parired with a brittle star, this little thug happily takes out hermits and even been known to help himself to the occasional small fish, known as "Psycho" on a few other forums,lol...
