This is probably a dumb question, but I was just wondering if cabomba is like hornwort where you can clip off the top and replant the part you clip off? And will it grow if it is just floating?

Thanks,
Meg

I believe you can clip and replant meggie, but i've never had much luck with it in heated tanks, i believe its a cold water plant. Mine always used to rot from the base upwards (which i put down to lack of light penetration to the base), then float around the tank making it look rather ming. I'm sure one of the planted peeps can give you a better answer! :D

Because of the fine bushy leaves of cabomba I have read that it needs exceptionally good clear water free of any debris.strong light and calm water.
