Hello!

I have an Aqueon 14 (15-gal) freshwater tank, it came with everything - heater, filter, etc. Today, the small plastic protector over one of the two lightbulbs fell off. It seems that the screw completely rusted out, it can't be reapplied. Is there any danger to leaving that single bulb exposed over time?

I'm also not sure if I can replace the protector without replacing the entire hood. :\

is it just the bulb? or the bulb fittings, like where it plugs into the socket?

As you can see in this photo I just snapped, the little hood is missing on the left side (you can also see where the screw rusted out).

if water can get into the fitting theres risk of it rusting away like the screw did... see if you can super glue it maybe? if u can still change the bulb or put a larger  slighly screw in
