Quick Question On Cycling

Ok so i am setting up a new small tank for my molly fry before i have the cash and space to buy a new larger tank to grow them in... anyway i used some of the gravel from my other tank to start the bacteria growth and today i measured small amounts of ammonia and nitrites so im assuming the cycle is just beggining so i was wondering what the optimum temperature would be for cycling (fishless)...

My current temp is 79

Hi,I had my Temp at 80,when I did my cycle.Worked for me !!!

Did my 10gal UK at 75F, didn't want to go too high as it can lower oxygen levels in tank.

o ok i see... yeah i have an airstone undergravel filter in there. i'll see what works for me... thanks guys you helped a bunch
