I have upgraded my tank size today (220 litres from 100 litres).

I have an Eheim canister filter (2213) which was powered down for an hour (I have not touched the media).

Half of the sand in my new tank is the sand from the old tank (kept for approx 1.5 hours in buckets of old tank water)

I have used 75 litres of RO water, approx 20 litres of old tank water, and the rest is treated tap water.

Will this tank cycle, do you think? Or can I look to put the fish back in tomorrow evening (24 hours later)

Thank you muchly in advance! :)

If the filter media where the bacteria lives hasnt dried out they should still be there.
Doing what you have done should instantly cycle your tank so i believe.
You should be able to put your fish in.

Thanks, Rodders :) Here's hoping!

I did not let the filter media dry out. The canister was left full of old tank water for the hour that the power was switched off.
