Can I add angelfish to a 55g with 6 zebra danios, 2 aus rainbowfish, and 1 neon dwarf gourami? How many could I add? I'm thinking on adding some shrimp, otocinclus, sae, and cory cats. Let me know which ones won't get along or would die easily i'm fairly new to this hobby.
Also, I have a hob filter with activated carbon. Is this the reason why I get 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, and 0 nitrate? Or does it have to do with the bunch of plants that I have in there. I'm confused if I have to wait for 6 weeks till it cycles but I can't read any ammonia, nitrite, or nitrate. Could I fully stock it now?
Hmmm, oh yeah when I do a water change with the python how much dechlorinator do I add? I've read for the full tank, for the amount added, and someone else said you didn't have to add dechlor for water changes. Can someone tell me step by step how to do it
?
Lighting I have 2 15 watt fluorescent bulbs so 30 watts for 55g. I have a bunch of plants will they do ok in it? A lot of them are low light plants java fern, java moss, wisteria, uhhh bunch of others. Any ideas to add extra lighting?
Oh and can anyone get on aquariacentral their forums seem to be down.
