can i keep goldfish and livebearer fish (such as platies/mollies/guppies) in the same tank?

in a heated tank i believe you can
BUT the goldfish will grow much faster and then m ay need a bigger tank or a pond

This is not a brilliant idea. A tank warm enough for the livebearers is rather too hot for the goldfish, which is not so good from a health point of view. Also, goldfish are very messy creatures so the livebearers would be at risk from water quality problems.

Yeah u can but it must be heated.

No Goldfish are Coldwater. Goldfish like 65-72F Livebearers like 72-78F
