Question On Dechlorinating

now long does it take to dechlorinate your water? i usally put the drops in before i put it in the tank but how long does this process take?

now a question on ammonia.. my ammonia is at .75 - 1 thats just right now.. what are the guidelines of waterchanges.. since the ammonia was quite high we changed the water lastnight.. should i just do it once a day untill the ammonia reads 0 or only if the ammonia gets above 1 ?

Do you have fish in the tank already ? If so, the answer is yes.

If you don't have fish yet, just let the cycle run it's course until the ammonia reaches zero, by doing a fishless cycle.
