Question About Amazon Frogbit

Hello,

I recently got some amazon frogbits. However, due to my filter, they keep going round and round at the top of my aquarium. Do they prefer still water or would they survive if they keep on going like that?

Mine did best in my shrimp tank that didn't have a powerful filter and hardly any surface movment. They did ok in my 60L but got blown arround a lot like you say, they didn't grow much at all in that tank.

i would have had the same issue, but i angled down the spray bars. i was sat here a minute ago pondering if some airline looped around and connected to itself would float allowing the floating plants to stay inside it....might try later.

As soon as I get to uni, I will find a job so I could fund the aquarium better than having to rely to my parents! If I try to lower down my filter, my fish would have limited area to swim to since most don't like the strong water movement. It's a shame, I really wanted my frogbits to grow a lot more hehe!

I had the same issues with water lettuce. Instead of growing it shrank, eventually into nothingness, because the water flow was too strong
