Query About Sarcophyton

Hi

I have a really nice Sarcophyton which is approx 6" tall and a 6" spread. I've noticed that "stuff" is collecting in its middle. Looks like fish waste/fish food. The sarcophyton looks good and is polyped up well, but just wondered if i should worry about the stuff building up?

Mine does that too, I have just directed the powerhead so that it blows away when doing a water change.

Hope I am doing the right thing.

that is the same with me to it is fine nothing to worry about i have added cleaner shrimps and they clean that for me

I give mine a blast with hte good old turkey baster

Thats a good idea Seffie, saves mucking up the placement on my powerhead flow, takes ages to get it in the right position again.
