my LFS has some pygmy Cory's in which I have never seen around here before. I'm interested in them, but noticed these little guys were schooling with the harlequin rasboras in the shop. Is that typical? Are they more mid/bottom swimmers rather than just bottom swimmers?

I had corys a few years ago but they were emeralds in a 55g. These would be going in a 20g long and I'm not looking to overcrowd the middle level.

They do tend to swim in the upper levels more than most of the larger corydoras. And yes some of the dwarfs corys will shoal with other fish.

Mine don't often hang out mid level, but occasionally. Ive got pygmaeus.
