Hi all
I have 2xMale GBR 1xEBR and 1 apisto agassizi female in my Roma 200 community tank.
They are housed with 2 pleco, tetras and praecox rainbow fish.
Dimensions 100x55x45 cm.
Well planted, large piece of English oak and 2 coconut caves.
Would it be too much to add a male aggie as my female is showing spawning colours and although she seems happy alone I can't help but wonder if she really is.
I originally bought a pair pf aggies and only had the 1 GBR at the time but the male died after just 3weeks and my lfs has not had any in stock since but are expecting some this month.
Everyone gets along at the minute with only the odd chase from the dominant male GBR towards the other GBR the aggie and EBR are not being bothered by him at all.
I'm concerned that i may pushing my luck by adding a male aggie as I believe they need around 60cm territorial space.
Would you risk adding one, leave things as they are or rehome the female aggie?
Thanks in advance
Alison

Personally I think you would be ok. Most apistos use about 30cm square as a territory the rams about the same.

Thank you reverend
I was a little unsure as this is my first time keeping apisto.
I was wary of territory issues.
