Puffer With White Spot

Hi, my parameters are:

Temp: 25C
Ammonium: 0
Nitrate: 5-10
Nitrite: 0.1
Size: 54l

I bought a South American Puffer about two weeks ago. Over the past couple of days I have noticed he has speckled white spots all over him. I added Interpret White Spot Plus treatment and also a tspn of marine salt per gallon of water (as I heard this will help).

However, last night and this morning his health has rapidly deteriorated. He has been resting on the bottom of the tank and occasionally moves around a little bit. I know this cannot be a good sign but I don't know what else I can do! Please help!!!

Keep up the treatment and make sure the water is oxygenated, any idea how long Ich has been on him? Get your temperature up to about 28C to speed the cycle up...

he has had spots on him now for about 3 days. my tiger barbs had it about a month ago, but the spots on them looked different to they do on my puffer - he seems very dusty. at the bottom of the tank all the time. white spot treatment doesnt seem to have done anything so far...
