Protein Skimmer

Need some suggestions on what would be a good protein skimmer for me. I have a 90 gal with a 30 gal sump and I am doing fish only.

Any suggestions

Most skimmers work well. Just don't cheap out too much..

I use the turboflotor with good results.

I agree with GL, turboflotter but also, theres the deltec mce600 which is also a good skimmer.

GL I am finding with my T1000 that I have to run hot water (with some vinegar) through the airline intake to clean it out like every 2 weeks or it stops skimming. What would be the cause of this? I'm guessing it is either calcium or salt buildup but my CA levels are normal (400-420) and my s.g. is 1.025. Both hold pretty steady. I don't get it...

ostrow- I do that also with my skimmer (deltec ap600) it is because of all the air beibg sucked through, and with it comes duse, salt creep etc etc. I run warm RO water through it and this improves the efficiency too. you could put an air filter on it but this may restrict the flow. I'd just run the airline to another part of the cabinet or room where it is less likly to such salt or dust in.
