Hi Guys

Finally got all my bits for my pressuried FE. After following the excellent instructions via PARC, i have found a leak between the regulator and the needle valve/solenoid connection. Initally tried using a spanner/small wrench to tighten it, but its still leaking and i dont want to damage the threads. Will PTFE tape be the best way to seal the leak?

Also in terms of tightening all the different bits is a wrench too much force. As a guide how much is too tight? (its a noob question..and a little arbitary but 'if you dont ask you dont know!')

obviously this excludes the valves between regulator and the FE.. i made sure that was fastened tight!

This. Just make sure to wrap the thread so it goes with the turn as you tighten. (Doesn't unravel)

Wrench all day. You want it tight enough not to leak, and not too tight to strip the thread :good:

I've read PTFE tape rots in the long term, but that no reason not to slap some on there.
