From seriouslyfish.com: "Feeds on small fish...Will eat any tankmate it can fit in its mouth." I believe that qualifies as predatory. I've kept a very similar fish, the two-spot catfish (Mystus bimaculatus) from SE Asia, that stays small and, in my experience, leaves even small tankmates alone. Might be worth checking out.

Doesn't say " feeding on smaller fish" it is predatory ?

Even without the good info from Seriously Fish, look at total length as an adult, and the width of that mouth. If no one had ever seen it before, they would know they had a predator with the mouth.

The confusion is that it will take other foods, other than live fish. That doesn't mean it doesn't like a fresh fish dinner when one is there.
