I have always grown my own plants from bulbs and other existing plants. I just bought 3 new large plants to take up some dead space in my tank and made it look a lot nicer. I want to know If I need to remove them from the little plastic pots or to leave them in there...

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You can leave them in the pot if you're planning to move them around alot.
If you want it to root well in your substrate then it would be a good idea to remove the plastic pot. Then gently remove the rockwool surrounding the base and roots of the plants. Try to get out as much as you can and if there's a little bit left, it will just break down in your tank later.
Then snip off a few of the roots from the bottom to encourage root growth, remove any brown/dead leaves on the plant and give the leaves a good gentle rinse under water. You're ready to plant it in your tank substrate. :)
