Posting Videos

I have a technical question regarding posting videos.

Not sure where the thread should go.

I’m attempting to post a video from my iPhone. I get a message that says the .mov format isn’t supported. I find that odd as I’m sure there are plenty of users posting from iPhones.

At any rate do I need to convert a file or am I missing something?

The actual video function in the post editor seems to have issues. You need to upload the video to a site such as YouTube and post as a link. .MOV may not be supported anyway. I would convert to .AVI, .MP4 or possibly MKV.

Videos cannot be inserted directly as with photos. They need to uploaded to a video hosting site such as YouTube and the url posted on here.
