Possible Red Devil Female...

so my parents got a 5 inch red devil about 2 months ago... we assumed it was a male... well today my sister sent me a picture of specks on the back glass of the tank where "brutis" always dug...

so my question is how big do they have to get before a female can lay eggs... and is it usually on the glass like this?

i havent actually went to inspect the "eggs" yet... but i assume they are... if not something else

is it normal for a female devil to lay eggs in a tank she is the only fish in it?

Generally female cichlids can lay eggs with no male around, not often but I've seen a few people post about it on here...

Ill try to tomorrow I have posted pictures of "brustis" oh here before when the first got "him" lol but if I can get a picture of the eggs ill post but my sister has a really old phone so I had to ask her what it was even of
