Very simple question:

since my main language is not english i do struggle sometimes with the names. Any suggestions what's the plant?
It's the only one in my tank that didn't like something and was slowly dying. Had to throw it out and get some replacement.

Cabomba usually grows tall and scraggy at the bottom unless you have CO2 and fertilize. That's been my personal experience anyway. Good luck with yours.

I do remember that when I was still young and good looking child(about 20 years ago that was) we used to grow these in our tanks and they were always green and healthy. And that was in USSR, where CO2 in aquariums wasn't invented yet :) that's why i was quite disappointed when they just started dying when the other plants that i thought are much more demanding were growing like crazy

It might be a competition for nutrients. If it were the only plants you kept as a child, then all the fishwaste would be available to the cabomba. I don't know which other plants you keep and if you have a fertilising regime or a nutrient rich substrate, but they might be more efficient with taking up nutrients or need less.
