How big is your tank, it looks like a biorb?
How many fish do you have in it & how long has it been running

Indeed, looks to be a Biorb.

He doesnt look to have any outward signs, please fill in the below, and we can help further;

1. Water parameters. (ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, PH, temp', Hardness etc)
2. A full description of the fishes symptoms.
3. How often you do water changes and how much.
4. Any chemicals and treatments you add to the water.
5. What tank mates are in the tank.
6. Tank size.
7. Finally Have you recently added any new fish?

Yeah its a Biorb 30 litres, with 3 Female Guppys and 5 Minnows. Its been running since mid September 2011 (We lost our first 4 Guppys) we did a water change earlier today and the readings after the Water change were:

Amonia 0
PH 7
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 25 ( :/ )

Looks like old age to me....my older swordtail had a curve like that when he was old. didn't do much but sit at the top of the tank.

As above, your water stats are fine,so it could just his time, as there is nothing outward showing. Is he eating?

Just keep an eye on him over the next few days. If he starts to swell up or anything else, pop back. It could be internal parasites or something worse that hasn't manifested externally yet.

a tank mate is another tank inhabitant :)

to me it looks like old age, they become quite lethargic in their last few fish years :)

Not saying this to freak you out, but in my experience, once old age had set in on my swordtails like that, they left me within the month. Hopefully it is something curable, but if not,if it is just his time, at least you gave him a nice life :)
