Pond Plants

Hi, i have got some duck weed and plants out of a friends pond and i want to put it in my tank, do i need to do anything with it other than rinse it with clean water, or do i need to do anything to maybe rid it of any contaminants before putting in, i dont want any disease going in my tank that will harm the fish, its a temperate tank with rainbow snakeheads.

give it a soak first for a few hours, and it should be fine.

Just to warn you, you're probably not gonna get rid of that duckweed once you put it in
