So a bit of a variation to the other post, I’ve noticed that the tank is level left to right but leans forwards. The footprint of the stand is similar to that of flat pack furniture in the picture so would ply be strong enough to hold the weight (it should be spread evenly). If I was to use for example 10 packers at the front then the whole back of the stand will be touching the floor so it would roughly be 30 kilos per packer, if I can squeeze some smaller ones into the middle of the ply before I fill it then it would be even less strain on the ply to avoid any warping?

Is this the way to go? Has anyone done this before?

The tank should weigh around 600 kilos once full...

The ply won't warp unless the cabinet does.
You should be able to get away with packing the front edge, making sure the side panels are supported as well. Use wdges for fine tuning.
The most essential thing it to ensure there is no rocking of the unit.

With such a slight amount of 'off level', I think I'd just use shims on the floor in the front to level. A multi-tool would work well to remove any excess shim hanging out. You can get shims at your hardware or big box store.
As mentioned, you want to make sure that it's good and stable and there's no rocking when jostled.

just to be clear - your stand is made of plywood or particle board or solid wood? Only in the case that the stand is made of particle board would I be a little worried about potential shear stress.

It appears to be made from chipboard/ particle board that’s why I want the weight spread evenly on a flat surface rather than shove a few packers under the edges...

I have a stand made of particle board sitting in my living room waiting to be painted, and every night I have nightmares that it's going to collapse after I put the 125 gallon + sand + driftwood + water + equipment on it.... I think it's safe to use...? It held a 125gallon before...?
