plecos and medicine

I treated one of my tanks with Ampicillex - 250mg of ampicillian about 12 hours agoand now he started acting real slugish so I took him out and put by him self. Does anyone know what kind of medicine they can tolerate.This is the first medicine I have ever seen him act like this on.

Not familiar with product..... Have you got dosage right? We get different brand chems over here.
