I feel like once I've taken care of one problem, sure enough I have another on....
Gator, my common pleco, has a medium size white spot on his head. It hasn't been there long. Today I thought I saw thought I saw him on him, but he zoomed into his cave before I could get a closer look. Well when I was cutting lights out, he sat still long enough for me to snap a picture.
I don't know if its an injury or a fungal something? It doesn't seem to be raised at all....
Help. :(
Like I said, i haven't noticed it until today, so its new whatever it is.

From the picture it looks like an injury but it's hard to tell.  Maybe he stuck his head behind the heater.  Just keep a close eye on it.

I took the heater out of that tank and put it in my 29. It almost fried my fish! Lol. So there's no heater in there.
I do have a big ugly fake stump that I hate, but he loves. But I am getting nervous about him not fitting in there anymore. Its a pretty tight squeeze for him to go in the holes. Because is about 8" long, and a pretty "healthy" weight is say. And the holes are probably 3-4" diameters.

That could be it.  I have some piranha that run into the driftwood all the time and get similar looking wounds.

It might be bad of me to say, but I would rather it be a wound than fungus. Just because I know that it will heal with time as long as everything is in check.

Not bad to say at all.  That's the first thing I hope for too.
