Dont take this as critisim OP, as I didnt know either till recently, but these are hard to give away for free due to their size, let alone sell. You might be better offering it free to a good home.

- These are not worth £26 unless they are full size, and even then I don't think you would manage to get £26.


I thought you was getting rid of the barbs? So why have you suddenly decided the plec also?

TBH m8 even larger ones tend to lose money as they get bigger for the simple reason ppl cant house them, you can either listen to advice or not but trust me at £26 that plec will be with you a very very long time...... btw your plec by pic is what 3-4 inches long....realistic LFS for that size £ 8-10 tops and thats if they can sell it

He is gorgeous but yeah over priced and I don't have room. Try Aquarist classifieds.com and you will see how much they usually sell for.

You should of read up about his size and what he does within the tank. they can get to 10" or bigger depending what size tank they are kept it. all plecos burry in sand and eat the plants with is something you will have to put up with. You wont get £26 for him though. I struggled to sell a Rusty pleco (You dont get many in shops) for £10 and didnt manage it... So try offering him at LFSs and see if they will swap for fish/plants or treaments of some kind
