Recently Iā€™ve been looking to add a pleco to 200L tank.My local, shop has King tiger L333 in stock.I have plenty of driftwood and caves.Iā€™am told these donā€™t get too big?.Can you keep these with ottoā€™s.Iā€™am over filtered with good flow. Are they messy.Donā€™t really want to risk upsetting the settled tank.any advice welcome.
Thks.

The tank is big enough tor a 333. This fish is a Hypancistrus and they are not algae eaters. They are omnivores which prefer meat. Next, 333 will get to be about 150mm or 5.9" SL (standard length). SL means not counting the tail, so maybe 6-7 inches total in a tank if it lives a nice long life.

It will not bother other fish as long as they are not ones which want to occupy the dsame places. Plecos males are territorial tend to claim caves while females may use caves but rarely claim them.

You can get a lot of good info on catfish including plecos, on Planetcatfush.com. You can read re :333 here https://www.planetcatfish.com/common/species.php?species_id=1024

Finally, if you are want a pleco which does eat algae then consider one of theplecos in the genus Ancisturus https://www.planetcatfish.com/common/genus.php?genus_id=4#221

I would not keep Otocinclus catfish with other types of suckermouth catfish because the Otos will starve.

Wood eaters poop the most.
Algae and vegetable eaters are next, closely followed by
The aufwuchs feeders.
The meat eaters poop the least.

Regardless of which diet, the size of a pleco matters when it comes to how much poop it produces.
