Morning fish lovers,

Please help, i have woke up this morning and found that my male kribensis is guarding my big back plant at the back of the tank... so i had a major look to see if i can see anything?...OMG there are about 15 maybe 20 little white eggs at the back on a huge leaf, mummy keeps going over and also checking on them...keepin other fish away...What i need to no is!!! they are a white/yellow colour is this right? :

how long b4 they hatch?
mummy keeps stucking them but not eating them is this normal and what she doing?....fluffing them up!!!
are they going to be ok?
shall i feed the tank so they dont get eaten?

Just what to do now really...

any answers would be gr8, many thanks asap!!!

This is good news mate, these cichlids are old world by the way ;)

White does not sound good, sorry to say, usually fertilized eggs will look a tea sort of colour without the milk.. :D

But this is good news all the same, if your wanting to breed these then id advise removing all tank mates and keeping only these in the tank, Other wise just leave them to get on with it and see what happens :good:
