Wow, they are in a bad way aren't they?

Are the marks on the fluffy or smooth? Do the fish flick and rub on things? What other fish do you have and how big is your tank. Also, have you done water tests to ammonia/nitrite/nitrate?

I had two loaches that had whitespot which developed into that fungus looking thing that is on your fish. Mine died unfortunately despite being treated twice with a fungus med.

The clown loach looks like he has an ulcer, which is bacterial. I can't tell from the pix if the white is "fungus" (actually a bacterial infection) or something else. Did the fish start out with ich, where they looked like they had salt sprinkled on them?

Also, what are your water stats (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and pH)? How big is your tank, and what fish do you have in it?

How many gallons is the tank, being skinny can be internal parasites or fish tb, so check the anus to see if it's enlarged or red and inflamed, is there anything prutruding from the anus.

hi thanks for the help, the tank is 48"x15"x12" i think its 128l.
it is a community tank with 7neon tetras, 2black widow tetras,5platys,4mollys, 1silver shark, 3harlequins, 2congo tetras, albino red tipped shark (botia??), black red tipped thing^^, 3danios,2 plecs, 3 gouramis, 2 clown loaches, 1upsidedown cat, 18baby platys in a breeder tank, male and female fighters. All these fish are healhty. the elephant is now dead :(
All the levels are ok, checked them myself and got a good fish shop to check them and he oked them.
also the anus looks fine. urgh.
a whitespot treatment i found said it wasnt suitable for fish with skin ie the clowns and elephant nosed.... they gave me MELAFIX and advised me to add aquarium salt

Sorry about the elephant nose R.I.P.

I don't know about the white spots, could be fungus or ich, but your tank is way overstocked. Clowns get way to big for this tank and like to be in groups of at least 5-6. If those are common plecos, they also get way to big for this tank. Some gouramis get very large also. Make sure you research all your fish before buying them. You should probably get rid of the clowns and at least one pleco. Eventually you will need to remove both plecos.
