Due to the actions of a particularly aggressive male adult tuxedo platy, I moved the baby platies (3 months old) out of the 6gall and into the 30gall....I was a bit apprehensive at first as they seem so little compared to the other fish 
Upon addition to the tank the first one chased the reigning male behind an ornament...the second one stole some food out of a neon tetras mouth and the others praded around the tank like they owned it...I almost cried with joy 
So no the tuxedo male is alone in the 6gal....he seems hapy but I will begetting him some non-platy friends
for company 
Lets hope that some of the fry turn out to be female
