Platy Disease

My platy has been sick for only a few days. Im worried about her.
She is slightly bent just after behind the gills so it looks like her body is drooping down, I have also noticed she has i white dot on either side of her mouth although she is still eating food. im not sure if she is injured or if she has some kind of disease.
Please help!

Can you give us a hint in terms of water parameters? I am especially interested in pH, ammonia and nitrites. The pH will tell me something about the kind of water you have and the other chemicals wi9ll mean something in terms of the state of maturity you have with your filter. If you have a simple immature filter, things are easy to take care of, you simply do frequent huge water changes with good technique and the filter will mature on its own to support your fish. For a new tank, water quality is the most common problem that people encounter. The symptoms vary from tank to tank but the common thread that runs through them is that a 50% or larger water change is often all that it takes to put things right.
