Platty fry/male Betta

I've had my new 10 gallon aquarium setup since Mother's Day. Dalmatian Red tail platies was one of the sets I chose to put in my tank. Well of course the female I was given was ready to pop. She gave birth after 24hrs in the tank.Don't know how many she dropped before she passed but I have recently found one that comes out to eat. I know I should remove it from the tank but don't have a nursery or spare small tank
My question is I have a male Betta who lives alone in a 5gallon tank. Could I I maybe catch it and release the fry in with my Betta?

I would not put a fry in with a Betta as they are predators. You would probably just be giving the Betta a snack.
