Plants Being Ripped Up

hey guys one of my 12cm Gouramis keeps pulling the plants in my tank clean out of the gravel, it seems that no amount of gravel will stop him from pulling them up, even a rock wasn't enough to stop him
Is there anything you guys can suggest that will stop this?
PS I have considered it and I do not want fake plants

Sounds like a persistent gourami lol. What kind of plant is it though. If its a plant like a amazon sword with a lot of roots you just have to keep trying to dig the plant in deeper and put some better rock support by it.

If all else fails and you wont wana get fake plants your're gona have to remove the gourami. Not much else you can do.
