so while im preparing and researching for my upcoming African Cichlid tank, im getting bored so i've decided to plant out my 20gal community. My main concern is keeping them alive as my past experience with plants isn't so great. I do have 2 plants in there right now and they seem to be doing alright maybe because i just recently started using flourish tabs. I want to care for my new planted aquarium very carefully and correctly. What's my approach here? is seachem flourish excel enough along with the tabs? or should i just opt for a co2 system. Any comments/advice are greatly appreciated.

Dose seachem Flourish weekly (not excel) as it isnt needed although it will help.

Root tabs are optional, if they are working for you then carry on.

easy plant species:

anubias sp
moss balls
moss sp
microsorum sp
bolbitis sp
cryptocoryne sp
hygrophillia polysperma
