Planting In Sand

How do you plant in sand. I just took off the metal around the water plants and just dug them in the sand. Am i doing this right?

Take all the foam e.t.c off the bottom of the plants,
Use some tweezers or anything like that and gently push it into the sand so that all of the roots are covered bye sand,
if possible try and get some plant food.
they are little balls that you put next to the plant roots and they can last up to 3-4 months, good luck.

in a word 'yes'. Make sure the sand is more than a 1" deep, and they should soon anchor themselves down.
