Planted Tank

i have a planted tank but i am thinking of putting micro sword or some other type of grass, can anyone tell me what kind of plant spreads in your tank after planting it

Agree, probably someone in planted will know. I know that you can get some of the smaller varieties of Vals (vallisneria - many varieties) that will multiply across the substrate via runners. Whether they grow well in a particular persons tank tends to swing rather strongly positive or negative though.

My favourite is hair grass, there are lots of different genus' but one is "Eleocharis" It grows very fast, and should cover your substrate quite well.
