I personally don’t recommend pools filter sand.

Pool filter sand tends to be more white than say, play sand.

Pool filter also tends to be more course (sharp).

I suggest you getting play sand.

Still havent got the sand because its "not a priority" :(

We called the feed store, they are out of sand now....BUT.... home depot has some in stock now! Gonna get it in a few hours :) yay!

Do you guys think my mystery snail will be ok with the plants? Or should I move him to my 10 gallon? I only have one

My dad is on his way home with sand!
Yay!

Okay I got my plants in! The pic is blurry and still has leaf bits floating around.
The crypt still looks pretty good, the only plants have melted is the dwarf sagittaria
The water is still a bit cloudy from the new sand, it looks less cloudy in real life

My fish are back in and they look healthier than yesterday :) my rummynose tetras had completely lost their red color but now it's back!

Still doing good :) only one dwarf sagittaria is perked up, the rest melted. The crypt is super healthy compared to when it came. Everything else is good. I lost one oto yesterday, but it was my biggest and oldest one so I believe it was just old
