The best keyhole tank I ever saw was a pair of Keyholes in a 2 foot tank the only plant was Crypt Affinis and the pair just bred and bred it was so cool

I’d love to do that ! Unfortunately I don’t think my dad would let me get another tank to breed them in ! Do keyholes breed easily in a group and if so …. What’s the best way to go around this ? If you know ?

Keyholes are best in pairs for breeding, just like all Cichlids. They are peaceful so if you have a large enough tank you may be able to have two pair in a tank. I always like all Cichlids as a pair per tank for breeding.
