Plant ID please

i got this plant recently, the guy at the lsf said that its a ludwigia, but i could not find it anywhere on the net, can someone help me id this plant, or even if it is a submerged type of a plant or not??

also how do you light bleach a plant to remove any illness or snails, before putting it into the main tank??

That plant is real? Coulda fooled me...

As for how to bleach plants, you can either use three tablespoons of alum [Al2(SO4) aka Aluminum Sulfate] to one gallon of waterand soak the plants in 48 hours. That should kill snails, not sure of algae however.

More common is using a 1:19 ratio of bleach and water and dip the plants in that for a minute, then place the plants into dechlorinated water, and that should be it. That's for killing algae, and it should wipe out the snails as well.

it sure is real, and it seems that it loves the tank because its been blooming like crazy for the past few days, the new leaves are sending some roots down to the gravel
