Plant Id Please

Hey everyone,

I am about to start my first planted tank so I took a punt and spent £6 on some plants from ebay, are these plants anygood or have I wasted £6?

I also would like some advice on where I should place my Powerhead to help with the circulation? I will be dosing the tank with TPN+ and Excel, (below is a little diagram of my tank showing the fiter inlet and out let pipes, I just need to know what would be the best position and angle for the powerhead?)

Any advice or help would be great

Cool thanks, just to update I have purchased a 2nd powerhead (waiting for it to arrive in the post) so I will put one at each end of the tank. I will get some pictures added tomorrow once I have put all the plants in

I have not got a clue where to plant each plant, but once I get some pictures up I am sure the more experienced members on here will put me straight

Here is a view of my circulation in my 240, i have tried to create a circular flow.

Looks like you have some Swords, Lugwigia Repens, Cabomba, possibly some rotala rotundifolia.

What would be the best way to plant the plants that dont have any roots? shall I just push them down into the gravel?

I take it you are meaning the stem plants, yeh just push them in. You may need to use some sort of anchor as they are known to come loose and float.
