Hi,

Some help and info needed please

So I just re started an old tank I have in my kitchen

So far I have

6 guppies
6 neons
12 shrimp
I loach/Algie eater

So I have added some plants and hair grass

Will the hair grass grow ok as it is or do I need to do a DIY co2 device for the plants to keep growing ok,? the grass is in black sand with a layer of black gravel on top

How powerful is your lighting and what size tank is it?

T5 compact light
lv 418. 18Wx1. 220-240v/50hz. Is info I have for the light

Cheers

Your lighting may require you to use full ferts and CO2 or instead of CO2, liquid carbon. As your lighting is a little high for low tech your plants will use up CO2 in the water and nutrients quicker, that will result in plants dying and algae.

Fooook I'm a bit new to this so any links on what's my best option?
