Fish Crazy
Hello everyone.
I among many of my hobbies, one of this is drawing. My love for fish/animals often inspires my subject matter. Anyway more to the point, Im working on a few pictures. One being an African scene. To describe it, it will be a above and below water picture. Above the water I'd like to bring many of the Native wildlife (lions, elephants, buffalo, ex) together to show how precious water is in nature.
In and Below the water, I would like to include hippopotamus a croc, and of course FISH!
Of the fish African cichlids, catfish, and maybe some carp.
What I need help with is deciding what fish would be suit the picture. The body of water will likely be a drinking pool or lake in Africa. So what cichlids and catfish would be found here? I would of really liked to use a frontosa(my favorite) but from what I know the live in Lake Tanganyika, and Im not sure if animals like elephants, hippos, and lions live on the lake.
I may just end up making it one big collage.
Ohh and what are those fish that follow hippos around? They look like some kind of carp. That would really help thanks everyone!!!
