Maybe for some reason the breeder of that Plakat ourcrossed it with a real fighter betta just like what I' raising.

Bit of a weird one that! When i bought it from the lfs it was with the females he didnt know it was male cost me £1.75, but its got a lot bigger & healthier since i got it. Just trying to breed him again at the moment as u can see the nest above him.
