PH in small tank higher than main tank

Hi all,

The PH in my small tank which i set up for breeding is about PH 8-9. The main tank however has gone down to 7 as I have had bogwood in there for months.

How do i get round this for moving fry into the main tank - that is - if this is a problem ?

Small tanks are harder to keep stable then big tanks what is the ph of your tap water, you could think of adding some peat to your tank.
