OK I went to the house Yesterday and I did the Plant Dip to kill all the algae ,,, seemed to have worked Ill know when i go there today to feed them how it turned out , And did the water change and scrubbed the tank really well.
I have never checked the ph
And know a tiny bit about it

The ph kit my dad had is a Tetra test Laborett water test kit .(very confusing to me )
(years ago I had an Cichlid tank and the kit i had was simple)

Should I even worry about the PH >>??

I also came across a lot of Products that He had bought .
I will ask about them soon
I can read the items and figure it out However Id like some input from you as well

Thanks Again for the help ......Im really excited about bringing the tank here next month

Angels prefer soft, slightly acidic water. Any pH in the 6.2 to 7.0 range would be perfect. Like most fish though, they will be able to adapt to levels outside that range though. The main thing is that the pH stays stable. Don't get hung up on using chemicals to try to lower a tap pH of 8.0 to 6.5. The pH will be in constant swing and never be stable. If your water has high pH, use driftwood and peat (in the filter) or even CO2 (if you have plants) to lower it.
